Introducing the DRIM-Nail – a cutting-edge solution designed for the minimally invasive fixation of extra-articular distal radius fractures. This innovative treatment leverages the advantages of intramedullary fracture stabilization, ensuring fast recovery and functional outcomes. Additionally, it offers a low economic burden compared to competitors and is awarded the AO approved label by experts.

The DRIM-Nail is intended for minimally invasive fixation of extra articular fractures of the distal radius. 

 

Indications

  • Extra articular fractures of the distal radius (AO classification type 23-A2, 23-A3)

Contraindications

  • Pre-existing or suspected infection at the fracture site
  • Skeletally immature patients
  • Insufficient bone quantity or quality
  • Local or systemic use of substances that inhibit bone healing, such as but not only corticosteroids
  • Any use outside of the defined indications
